Social Programme
At Craddock House we feel passionately about ensuring residents feel valued and loved within their home. A strong social, physical and cognitive programme is tailoured around the needs and interests of our residents. Participating in a range of interesting, creative and fun activities can make a huge difference to residents and their sense of happiness and wellbeing.
We pride ourselves on getting to know residents and what they like to do so social programmes are developed to suit their interests and tastes. An exciting social calendar reflects a broad range of activities and events that’s built around the interests of our residents. Residents remain part of their community and where possible continue to attend the groups they enjoy locally for example choirs or book clubs.
Activities range from art classes to zumba chair exercise sessions, gardening, crafts, live music and entertainment, quizzes, seasonal celebrations, day trips to the races and much more. Indoor activities take place in our range of communal areas and breakout spaces.
Smaller groups of like-minded residents often like to do something specific together. For example, several of our residents enjoy playing cards together.
Activity coordinators have activities in place 7 days a week and there is always lots of fun and laughter in Craddock House.
