To all the Staff @ Craddock House.

A very sincere thank you for all you did for Nancy for the 5 years that she was a resident of Craddock House. The care was outstanding and the love & affection given to Nancy was fantastic. Every time we visited Nancy we always felt the very positive atmosphere and we enjoyed going to see her & found every staff member so friendly and they always had time for chats. We never had any worries when we had to leave, as we knew Nancy was being well looked after. Nancy was very content & that was a great comfort to us. The family were always kept in touch if any problem arose.

‘It was the first time in years I felt like a man who didn’t have Parkinson’s. I felt like a 40-year-old, I had such a good time."

My name is Eileen Broe, my Mum had dementia and in 2016 it became apparent that she could no longer live on her own. She moved into Craddock House in July 2016 and lived there until she passed away in December 2020. From the very first day, I knew it was the right move, everything that could be done was done to make Mum and me comfortable with her new home. The staff are all amazing, they are kind, loving, caring and supportive to the residents and their families. Obviously covid changed everything and made things very difficult, especially for residents with dementia, who couldn’t understand what was going on, but even through those very dark and scary days, the staff were still giving the same care, support and attention to residents and their worried families. Craddock House is an amazing place and if and when the time comes, I would hope that they will have a bed for me!
